Classical Influences on Modern Architecture

First, solve these seven wondrous 7x7 Skyscrapers puzzles. In each puzzle, each of the 7 outer colors stands for a digit from 1-7. No color will stand for the same digit in any other puzzle.

You can type numbers in the grids below, but there is no correctness checking. You can mark candidates by holding the Shift key.

When the puzzles are solved, do the following for each puzzle (in the order provided):

  • Sum up the digits in the puzzle’s gold region, add 21000, and look up that set in the Lego Architecture series.
  • Associate that Lego set, based on a feature in that set, with one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World:
    • The Lighthouse of Alexandria (a very small yet unmistakable lighthouse)
    • The Hanging Gardens of Babylon (any explicitly-named botanical feature will do)
    • The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus (a place of worship)
    • The Great Pyramid of Giza (a pyramid of standard geometrical shape)
    • The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (a burial site)
    • The Statue of Zeus at Olympia (a statue of moderate size)
    • The Colossus of Rhodes (a very large statue)
  • Find a different puzzle whose interior visually depicts that wonder.
  • Sum the values of the three pixels in that different puzzle that are in the same positions as the three blue-gray pixels in the original puzzle.
