Solution: MATH 7 Practical Applications of Green's Theorem
Answer: SAD FACE

Written by Mike Sylvia

Solve the clues, then solve the Wordle boards. This initially seems impossible—SHRE* with no D or W? An anagram of AGNOR that doesn’t end with N?—but is made simpler upon the key realization that the answers are the names of fictional characters that, like all Wordle answers, are green.

A.SHREK B.RANGO C.YOSHI
E P O C H A S I D E I S L E T
B R O W N P R O U D U N F I T

Once you have all nine green beings, the initials of the clues spell what to do next: ALPHA SORT NINE GREENS AND RESCORE FOR A (THREE FOUR) PIC. So we reassign our green answers to new boards, in alphabetical order this time, determine the new color of each cell, and see what image enumerated (3 4) it makes:

A.A'TUIN B.DIPSY C.GUMBY
E P O C H A S I D E I S L E T
B R O W N P R O U D U N F I T
C L E A R C H U R N S Y N O D
H E A R S G N O M E A N G S T
R I D G E I P O D S V I N Y L
D.OSCAR E.RANGO F.SHREK
H A Z E L A R S O N D A I R Y
O F T E N M I L E S N A D I R
R I G H T S H I F T I M A G E
A N K L E I N G O T F A I T H
P R I M E A M B E R L I G H T
G.THROG H.YOSHI I.ZORAK
S O N I C I D E A S C H E A P

P U L S E G H O S T B L U E S

Aww, it’s a SAD FACE! I guess that last clue was right—in the process of turning all of those yellows into greens, we made them more blue. :(
